Mimbly is a Swedish cleantech scale‑up, headquartered in Gothenburg, dedicated to creating sustainable laundry solutions. Originating as a Chalmers University project in 2017, Mimbly has grown into a team of over a dozen, focused on helping organizations with large-scale laundry operations—such as housing companies, facility management firms, and hotels—reduce water usage, energy consumption, and microplastic pollution. Their flagship product, the Mimbox, recycles laundry water, captures microplastics, and retains heat, delivering connected insights via an IoT dashboard. With a commitment to tackling water scarcity and marine pollution, Mimbly targets UN Sustainable Development Goals including clean water, responsible consumption, climate action, and life below water. The company has received numerous recognitions, including Ny Teknik’s 33‑listan (2021 & 2022), the Postcode Lotteries Green Challenge (2021), IFMA Innovation Prize, Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact, and Årets Nybyggare.
