Product description
The CityTree Regenerative Bio-Air Filter is a cutting-edge solution designed to combat urban air pollution and reduce CO2 emissions in a sustainable and innovative way. This modular system combines a vertical living-moss wall with smart fans, sensors, and IoT controls to effectively filter fine particulate matter (PM2.5/PM10) from the air at impressive rates.
The moss surfaces within the CityTree unit mimic the air-purifying capabilities of 81 trees per 9 m² footprint, achieving up to 82% fine dust capture and removing up to 342 kg CO₂e annually. Integrated sensor data allows for real-time monitoring of air quality and system performance through the AirCare platform, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency.
CityTree operates with minimal energy consumption, requiring only 1.4 kWh of electricity per day and utilizing approximately 0.8 L of water per hour. This sustainable approach enables the system to function efficiently while significantly reducing its environmental impact.
Furthermore, the design of CityTree goes beyond air filtration, incorporating public furniture elements such as benches and digital screens to enhance urban comfort and engagement. Certified with CE safety standards and supported by scientific validation, CityTree represents a new era of regenerative urban infrastructure that actively improves air quality, cools microclimates, and fosters community involvement in sustainability efforts.
