Product description

The SunAir Fountain® is a revolutionary green solution that tackles water scarcity sustainably by harnessing solar power to generate clean drinking water from the air. Each compact panel, measuring approximately 0.7 m², utilizes a natural adsorbent to capture humidity during the night. The trapped moisture is then released as sterile vapor during the day through solar heating. The condensed water is collected, naturally mineralized, and meets the stringent drinking water standards set by WHO, EU, and US EPA.

This innovative system operates entirely off-grid, eliminating the need for electricity, chemicals, or mechanical refrigeration. It requires minimal maintenance, such as annual filter cleaning and sorbent replacement. With the capacity to produce around 1 liter of water per day per panel in optimal conditions and a lifespan of up to 20 years, the SunAir Fountain® is designed to be modular, scalable, and cost-effective, priced at approximately €500 per unit.

These panels are ideal for household use, small communities, and industrial applications, offering a sustainable and low-carbon alternative to bottled water. Particularly valuable in regions facing water scarcity, the SunAir Fountain® provides a reliable source of clean water without contributing to carbon emissions. Agua de Sol is also exploring industrial-grade applications in sectors like food processing, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, providing on-site sterile water in an environmentally friendly manner.

About the Company

Agua de Sol is a French cleantech company founded in 2019, focused on creating decentralized, sustainable access to drinking water using solar energy. The company’s core innovation, the SunAir Fountain®, is a compact, solar-powered atmospheric water generator that extracts humidity from the air and turns it into pure, sterile water—without using electricity, chemicals, or generating waste. With zero plastic, zero CO₂ emissions, and minimal maintenance, the solution provides an ecological alternative to bottled water and centralized supply chains. Agua de Sol’s mission is to ensure water autonomy for homes, industries, and communities, while contributing to climate resilience, sustainability, and reduction of environmental pollution. The technology is aligned with circular economy principles and supports global goals for safe, affordable drinking water access, particularly in off-grid and water-scarce regions.
